A Walk Around Corton |

As you enter Corton, coming from rom Lowestoft along Corton
Road, you will see the large playing field on
the left hand side. Football teams who use the field are
Corton FC, White Horse Seltic, Corton Ladies, Waveney Girls FC
(under 13s), Oulton Wanderers FC, Corton Veterans,
Railway. |

Look to your right and you will see the Corton Hut.
Formerly known as the Hut Hotel, the building has seen some
major changes over the last few years |

Walking along The Street, parallel to the playing field the
next place you see is the
Corton Classic Resort. Click on the link to find out

Corton Methodist Church is on the left hand side of The
Street. Every Tuesday a Craft Fayre is held from 10.00am
to 4.00pm. Corton Toddler Group meet here every Monday in
term time from 9.30am to 11.00am |

The houses on the right hand side of The Street, just south
of Tibbenhams Score were built by Jeremiah Coleman in 1876 to
house the coastguards. |

Further along The Street you will see the Village Hall
on the left hand side. The Parish Council meet here on
the first Tuesday of the month (except January and August).
Bingo Sessions are also held here every second Tuesday. |

At the back of the Village Hall is the Bowling Green. |

As you walk past the Bowling Green you will come to the
Village School |

At the end of the footpath you enter Mill Lane where you can
see The Mill immediately in front of you |

Turn to your right and walk down Mill Lane where you will
arrive at the White Horse |
